Jennifer Robinson BA (Hons)
Jennifer is an aerialist and dancer performing and coaching workshops around the UK and internationally. She gained a BA(Hons) in Dance and Theatre Performance from Bird College and went on to further her training into the world of aerial circus, specialising in silks, corde lisse, aerial hoop and trapeze. Blending musical theatre and aerial in her work Jennifer toured the UK with Barnum in 2014/15 with choreography by Andrew Wright and in 2018 she made her West End debut in Chess at The Coliseum, performing aerial silks and hoop under Circus Captain Jack Horner (Assistant Artistic Director, Cirque du Soleil) and with choreography by the award winning Stephen Mear. More recently, Jennifer held the position of Circus Captain and Aerialist with the 2019 new production of The Bartered Bride at Garsington Opera with Director Paul Curran. Previously Jennifer performed with Upswing’s UK Tour of Red Shoes as a dancer and Chinese pole artist and has collaborated and performed on shows for Greenwich Children’s Festival and Greenwich Circus Festival. Other theatre credits include Die Meistersinger and Don Giovanni at the Royal Opera House and understudy aerial stunt double for Satine in Secret Cinema’s Moulin Rouge. Jennifer has also worked as a trapeze stunt performer and aerial consultant on feature films The Limehouse Golem and Love Sarah.
